McGovern Peter (P. Red) Mully Upper, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan Died 29th June 2016 Peter's Daughters Kathleen and Mary, Daughter in law, Colette, Kathleen's Partner Aidan, Grandsons Evan, Fían, Cian, Donnacha and extended Family would like to express their most sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on the loss of their beloved Peter. Thank you to all who called to the house, brought gifts, to those that telephoned, sent text Messages, emails, Mass and Sympathy cards and floral tributes. Thank you to those that attended the Wake, Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial. A very special heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Fr. Charlie O'Gorman PP and Fr. Sean Mawn PP for their help, support, guidance, prayers and for the Removal and beautiful Funeral Mass. Thank you to Fr. John Carroll, Chaplain at Sligo General Hospital for all your support and prayers to Peter and his Family during his illness and for attending and concelebrating at the Funeral Mass. Also thank you to Fr. Maurice McMorrow PP for calling to the house. A special thank you to Dr. Andrew Hodgson who cared for Peter during his illness and all the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Sligo General Hospital, we are forever grateful. Thank you to Fr. Charlie O'Gorman, local choir and Geraldine McCaffrey for the beautiful music and to all those who helped in anyway with the Funeral Mass. Thank you to the gravediggers who beautifully prepared Peter's final resting place. A special thank you to the Undertaker, Vincent McGovern for his professionalism, care and respect shown to Peter and his Family. Thanks to Dolan's Shop for supplying the food for the wake. To the Glan Bar for refreshments after the Funeral. To all those that helped out during the wake and helped the Family in anyway, is most appreciated. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation, gratitude and thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Peter's Months Memory Mass will be Friday 22nd July at 8 pm, St. Patrick's Church, Glangevlin.
