BEAU:

Your brother is one of a kind; so giving, kind and fun loving. He leaves a lasting impression on people he barely knew... He's very much alive in the hearts of so many who knew him. I wish you peace and joy in knowing he was so loved. Keep him alive in your memories.

To the Salas familia, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. We are all missing Pete, his laughter, his friendship, his wonderful persona and funny times and memories he has left us with to remember him by. I have been blessed to have worked with Pete at GMH all those years and will treasure all our laughs, good times, more laughs and antics Pete had come up with. Such a wonderful spirit he had to make things better, being food, flowers, fun, painless x-rays or just being there for all of us. He will truly be missed, but will always remain in my heart as a wonderful friend and a real gift to all of us.

I have known Pete at GMH. He is my husband's bestfriend and bacame one of my bestfriends too. He is such a joy to be with, always in a happy and jolly mood, and just keeps you laughing. His love shows all the time by his actions and words. He is one of my true Chamorro icons. Through him, I see the true Chamorro culture, a very giving person, that will give whatever he has, to anyone in need. If he doesn't have it, he will go out and seek it for you. I have always enjoyed being around him and his family. He always welcomes anyone that comes to his home, and makes them feel at home. I love you Pete.
For all of us on earth. A scripture I would like to share:
2 Corinthians 5:7
Live by Faith, and Not by Sight.
It was our loss, and God's gain to have him there with him now. We know he is at peace, and is happy in Heaven with our Father. There he will meet his other family that has left us here on earth.

Psalms 118:1
Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His mercy endures forever.
Brother, until we see each other again..Adios, David

to the Salas family, may you all be at peace knowing that Pete is up in heaven watching over you all. His character was well loved ever since ever since... although I didn't go to school with him... he made such an impression just being Beau's brother, helping whenever he was needed... a true chamorro at heart!

Hi Pedro,
It's been three days since your funeral and I still can't believe you are gone. Throughout the years I have grown to love and respect you like a brother. I will always cherish the fond memories I have of you and all the spontanious things you used to do. I know you are up in Heaven (probably partying) watching over us, but it is comforting to know that you suffer no more. We will always keep your memory alive here and especially in the heart of your God-Daughter, Nae-Nae. Heaven is a better place now with you there. I love you and will miss you always.

I haven't gathered my thoughts for this because it seems painful to think of. I guess I can say I played the avoidance too long as part of my coping mechanism. Uncle Pete is an example of living life to its fullest. And surely did he lived it in such a short amount of time. He was a person who had compassion and respect for others. He was a giver. Uncle Pete, I miss you! Rest in peace until we meet again.

Dear Family and Friends of Pete,
Please accept my heart felt sympathy over your loss. I knew Pete for 3.5 years while working at GMHA. He was the first person to lend a hand to anyone in need. I never saw a person work so hard for fundraiser's ect... to help another person. He loved his food, loved to cook, and was always up for a fiesta. He introduced me to Guam in many ways. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. Take Care and God Bless!

To the Salas Familia:
Pete was a wonderful and caring co-worker at Guam Memorial Hospital. I have prayed for him when "Chana" Cepeda, my sister-in-law told me about his illness. I can only say, "God looked down and saw how Pete was suffering and called him home." He went home where there's only peacefulness. In Pete, we have all earned another watchful angel in heaven. Rest in Peace, Pete.

Pedro, I didnt take our converation seriously when you said you would pay one last visit to us. And the morning you did......I still laugh about it ....cause of how you were able to turn off/on the tv, and the fan and the lights and computer. And especially in the early morning when I wanted to take an extra hour of rest. Yes, I did thank you for the visit and to follow the path of the lord and REST IN PEACE. Your passing together with Frank and Benignos was just so painful to all of us and the sad part is were not able to bid you farewell on the day of your funeral. But rest assure that you are all loved and would be missed dearly. You have been greatly appreciated by so many of the families, friends and relative and that is just the type of person you are who would do anything for anyone and even a stranger. The lord has given us a baby brother for 44 years and all those memories that we have of you would be treasured forever. REST IN PEACE CHELU . WE WOULD ALWAYS LOVE & MISS YOU. To my families in GUAM...SORRY we won't be able to make it back home this time but our prayers are with you all. WE MISS YOU ALL....

Nino, Uncle Beau, Auntie Cawing and to the entire Salas family...

Words can not express the pain that you have all endured during the last couple of months. I'm still in shock that Uncle Peter is gone, I just saw him in March and that memory will always stay with me. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers always. May God grant you the serenity to go forth each and every day as Uncle Peter would have wanted you to do so.

Always,

If you can read this uncle pete this is for you...

First and foremost, PLEASE do not scare me like that again...My heart was beating like no other. I am sure you were crackin' up doing and busting a gut, but I knew that it was you just doing your last visits on us out here in Cali..

On a more serious note, I can't believe that you have passed. You will be truly missed most especially for your crazy ways...I wish we can attend, but I am sorry that we are not able to. We wanted to see you back in May for the wedding but you were doing treatment...Always remember that you are loved and will be truly missed..
