I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of Peter's passing. I know no words can bring comfort at a time like this, but know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Pete, Aunt Louise Ellen, Patty, Mary, Kathy and Diane May,
As you know Peter and I were great friends in HS as 1st or 2nd cousins first removed or something like that. When Patty joined us in the class of 1976 at Demarest because she was so smart I used to kid Peter because she always made us look bad. As we moved away to college we lost track of each other but never lost our concern for each other to know where each other was thru our extended families. I am shocked to have heard the news from my mom Rita while on business travel in Arizona of Peter's death. I am sincerely sorry for your loss, I will pray for your strength during this time. Peter will always be remembered by our class of 1976 as the guy with a great smile, the best friend anyone could hope to have, a friend who had your back thru the toughest situation and someone who was just great fun to be around. This world will truly miss him and the numerous family and friends left behind will have some great memories of this great man' s accomplishments and unselfish actions. We will miss Peter alot. My love, prayers and thoughts are with you all. May God bless you and keep you in his loving care.

We met in kindergarten and were college roommates.
I moved and we lost touch but I will tell you with all my heart Pete was a great friend. We "grew-up" together and we had a lot of fun and many heartfelt conversations. The memories!!!
To the Sorensen Family, God Bless all of you in this most difficult time and take some comfort in knowing how much Pete was liked by so many people.

Rest in Peace in GOD'S WARM, LOVING, AFFECTIONATE, and HEALING EMBRACE, Pete. We can only imagine the depths of pain you had been experiencing but, now, you are liberated from it and dwell completely within DIVINE LIFE, LIGHT, LOVE, and GRACE. You've truly left a great void in our CHS Special Education Department. We will truly miss you.

My deepest sympathy to the Sorensen family and to Dianne May. I got to know Pete through Clifton High School. Pete was a good hearted man, a good teacher, who communicated well with his students, as well as a man who devoted his time helping his community whenever the need arose. Rest in peace, Pete, and may those who are left behind keep your memory alive in their hearts! You will be missed.
