Petronilo Ibadlit III Obituary
He was born on March 26, 1978 in Kalibo, Philippines to Arlene (Raz) and Petronilo Ibadlit Jr. He worked as a chef and cook in New York City. He had a passion for exploring and learning about different cultures through food. He loved graphic novels, comics, Sci-fi and fantasy and amassed a significant collection of related memorabilia.
Jon-Jon was known for his tremendously kind and loving spirit, his unwavering generosity, and his unashamed enthusiasm for things he loved. He prided himself on his ability to make others laugh and his smile was infectious. Jon-Jon is survived by his parents, Petronilo and Arlene, his two sisters, Frances and Mary Lou and countless aunts, uncles and cousins.
A mass followed by lunch to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in his memory to the New York Immigration Coalition (https://www.nyic.org).

I am so saddened by this news, and so sorry, Pet was my kids babysitter for many years he made them laugh. They were excited to see him every day, and he meant so much to our family. There is a saying: "If the only prayer you ever say in your life is Thank You, it will be enough"... so today, I will be saying "Thank You" to God for the gift of life He shared Jon-jon with all of you. Though his life has ended here on earth, his life in heaven is just beginning. His love for you, however, never ends but becomes eternal and everlasting.
