PHILIP PAINE Obituary

Philip R. Paine, a former long time Pearl River resident, passed away on August 19, 2009. He was 62. He was born in Brockton, Mass. on October 13, 1946 to Harold and Virginia Paine. Mr. Paine has lived in Highland Falls, NY for the past 4 1/2 years. Prior to that he lived in Pearl River for 30 years. He was the Manager of the Pearl River Car Wash for 30 years. Mr. Paine was a long time member of Neighborhood Alliance Church in Pearl River, serving as a Church Elder and Treasurer. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra L. Paine. One daughter, Rebecca Paine-Noss of Pearl River. Two sons, Robert Paine and Amy of Pearl River and Michael Paine of Highland Falls. He is survived by four grandsons, Stephen, Jacob, Caleb and David. He is also survived by his mother, Virginia. He was predeceased by his father. Also surviving are his three brothers, Donald, Ralph and Clifford and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Neighborhood Alliance Church, 253 Ehrhardt Road Pearl River, with burial to follow at the Eagle Valley Cemetery in Highland Falls. Visiting hours are scheduled for Friday Evening, 4PM to 8 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. Viewing will also be 9 AM to 10 AM on Saturday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Neighborhood A lliance Church, 253 Ehrhardt Road Pearl River, NY 10965.
