Pietro FALVO Obituary
On July 31, 2015, Mr. Pietro Giuseppe Falvo passed away at the age of 102 years.
Pietro is survived by his children, Frank, Felicia and Pierina; grandchildren, Sam, Rachel, Danny, Nicholas, Paul, Jeremy, Alissa, Andreana, Joe, Rachel, Riadh and Kim and numerous great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Rachele; son, Mario; sister, Caterina and brothers, Angelo and Alessandro. Pietro was born in Amato, Italy. In 1952 he immigrated to Winnipeg with his oldest son while the rest of the family followed later. His happiest times were spent playing cards, singing, gardening and most of all visiting family and friends. He always put a smile on the faces of those around him with his sense of humour, optimism and light hearted spirit. His perseverance and determination inspired us all. Ti ameremo per sempre Nonno.
Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday August 5 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 11828 – 85 Street, Edmonton with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.

Gli piaceva a tutti e ha vissuto abbastanza a lungo per mettere in imbarazzo a fondo tutti i suoi figli , ma soprattutto le sue figlie ( le mie zie ) per cantare e ballare in pubblico , amava far ridere la gente , prendendo 15 cucchiai di zucchero bianco nel suo tè , e lasciando sapere esplicitamente se non gli piaceva qualcosa .
Possiamo noi tutti vivere più a lungo e come veramente felice e con lo stesso gusto vivevi da Nonno .
Come ci si può dire - Grazie, e buona notte ! Era 102 . You truly were "Número Uno!"
