We visited Wensleydale only this week and there enjoyed reminiscing about her.
This was completely without knowing that she had died. We simply recalled such happy fun-filled times and her telling us the cheese should be eaten with apple pie. Such a great couple - Chris & Pru.
May you rest in the peace of Christ, Pru. Amen.

I have been re-reading the Extracts from Pru's diary of our sixth form rambles in the dales and lake district. Enjoying every new youth hostel and without a care for the weather! Just enjoying each other's company and the peace of the countryside. Pru calmly organised us all and we shall miss that calm smile at our next reunion. Thnk you for those happy days.

I have known Pru since we were nine years old and we were at school together and we have both known Chris since he got together with Pru at University. We lived in Nottingham then and they used to meet up at our house. Later we had several holidays with our family and theirs.
We have always loved their company both so kind, caring and good fun.
We did several long distance walking holidays with them when the children had grown up and we met up each year for the annual school reunion. We will miss Pru greatly at the next reunion. She used to bring selections from her diary reminding us of happy school days often snippets that we had forgotten about.
God bless you dear Pru we will miss you so much.
Love Christine and Brian xx

Over many years Pru has been a great friend and very supportive to both of us. Pru and Chris provided a wonderful example of what a married relationship can be, full of wisdom and the real sense of fulfilled lives. We are so glad for happy recent memories of sharing coffee and cake in the garden on the occasion of Pru and Chris's 55th wedding anniversary. As ever a wide-ranging conversation, positive and forward looking. We came away feeling uplifted.
Thank you Pru for the love you always showed to us. We will always remember you

We remember with gratitude our kind and gentle friend Pru, who in her thoughtful way always brought something extra to our poetry meetings; home-made biscuits; apple crumble;etc, and with Chris showed us circle dancing. She was a great supporter of marriage and family life, and her love will live on in her own family and friends.
May she rest in peace and enjoy the happiness of heaven.
