Purificacion Cambronero-Brooks Obituary
She graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Centro Escolar University Manila, Philippines.
She married Antonio Atanante Cambronero (Daddy Tony) on November 5, 1961 and they were blessed with 4 wonderful children - Maritoni, Zachary Anthony, Mildred and Myra Michelle.
She worked for the Department of Health of the Philippines for 20 years. At the peak of her career she was sent to the different provinces and regions of the Philippines as a training officer under the National Nutrition Council. In 1981 she went to the United States on a fellowship under the auspices of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The biggest change in her life happened in June 1983 when the family migrated to the United States of America. Life in the US was at first very challenging for her especially when her husband Tony passed away 5 months after their arrival. But with her strong personality and perseverance, her love for her children and faith in our Lord, she was able to conquer all the hardships and came out triumphant.
She married Paul Bolden Brooks Jr. (Dada Paul) on May 15, 1986. They have been together since then, living a full and happy life, with Dada Paul serving as a second father to her children.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her 7 children, 4 in-laws, 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She will always be remembered as a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
A service for her celebration of life is scheduled for 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the 27th of March 2019 at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery and Funeral Home in Renton, WA. We invite everybody who want to pay their last respects to Mommy Puring to join us on this day.
An intimate burial service with just the immediate family will follow on the next day, the 28th of March.
