Quirino Garcia born November 14, 1937, went to be with the Lord July 17, 2011, at the age of 73. He graduated from Jefferson High School, joined the US Marines and returned home as a Korean War Veteran. Quirino is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Sara Garcia; daughter Sylvia Garcia Toscano; son Quirino Garcia III; sisters Juanita Garcia and Margie Sanchez; brother Juan Garcia; grandchildren Stephanie Lynn Garza and husband Ramon, and Edward Anthony Toscano; 1 great-granddaughter Emily Joy Toscano.
Services
Visitation will begin on Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a prayer service to be at 7:00 PM at Oak Hills Mortuary. A funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:20 AM Monday, July 25, 2011, for a funeral mass at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with US Marine Honors. You may sign the on-line guest book at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section.
