Raiza passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 10th in her home in Piqua, Ohio. She was 35 years of age.
Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico she was raised in Revere, Massachusetts, she was a loving daughter of Yazmin Rivera of Chelsea and the late Orlando Martinez.
Raiza attended Northeast Vocational School in Wakefield, MA, studying Graphic Arts and Design, she graduated in 2005. She enlisted into the US Air Force in 2005 serving in Security Forces NCO at Andrews Air Force Base and was Honorably discharged in 2008
In her lifetime, Raiza was a dedicated stay at home Mom. She enjoyed hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is remembered for her beautiful smile, positive attitude towards any situation, and her thoughtfulness and generosity. Her kind and uplifting words will always be cherished.
She is lovingly survived by her beloved companion, Jonathan Kirkpatrick. She was the loving mother of Sayuri, Cheyenne, Geryko, and Atreyu. Dear sister of; Orlando Martinez, Jr., Joel Martinez, Tanya Martinez, and Norland Martinez. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday April 19th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. at the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway. Committal Services will be held on Thursday April 20th at 10:45 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.

Raiza, you truly had a smile that would light up a room. Such a bubbly personality and so many found memories. We were supposed to see you this week and Atreyumy heart it broken with the thought of just seeing you a year ago.
Rest in peace love, love you to the infinity.
