Ralph Peter "Pete" Folsom

Ralph Peter "Pete" Folsom passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 84, in Fallbrook, California. Born on March 25, 1940, in Sayville, Long Island, New York. Pete was a vibrant and charismatic individual who was often described as the life of the party and deeply cherished his family and friends.

Pete moved to Santa Ana, California with his family in 1953, where he attended Santa Ana High School before embarking on a diverse and successful career. He was the owner of Abstrax Title Services and Folsom Painting Services. Additionally, Pete was an accomplished author, known for his mystical adventure novel set in Mexico, "The Jaded Truth". His creativity also extended to writing stories and novels in his leisure time.

Beyond his professional life, Pete was an award-winning billiards player and enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and golf. His enthusiasm and passion for his hobbies and interests were evident to all who knew him.

Pete leaves behind a loving family, including his son Kenneth Folsom, daughter Karen Folsom Rymar, and three grandchildren: Julian Rymar, Bethany Folsom, and AnneMarie Folsom. He is also survived by his five siblings: Ron Folsom, Sheri Folsom Held, Joan Folsom, Mitchell Folsom, Cynthia Folsom Russell, and stepfather Ernie Lujan. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Parker Folsom, and mother, Rita Wood Lujan.

A memorial service to celebrate Pete's life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Center for the Arts, located at 801 N. Main Street, Santa Ana, CA, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Pete, honoring his vibrant spirit and loving memory.
