Ralph McKinley Pickens

Ralph McKinley Pickens age 85, of Tiger, passed away Feb. 5, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He was born July 20, 1937, the son of the late Ralph McKinley Pickens and Hazel Edith Vinson Pickens. He also was preceded in death by his daughter Krystal Dawn Pickens and sister, Gloria Tate.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Carol Pickens of Tiger, Ga., daughter Holly Pickens of Clayton, Ga., son Eric Pickens (Lynn) of Tiger, Ga., granddaughter Gracie Pickens.
He was a wood worker and helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the Lions Club for over 40 years and was a past President. He loved to read and draw, in his later years he loved to be out in nature reading a book. He was an amateur photographer and love d taken beautiful scenic pictures.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at Beck Funeral. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lions Club PO Box 411 Clayton, Ga., 30525.
