Ralph Taylor Sr.

Ralph Taylor Sr. age 69 was born on November 22, 1955, to RoseZella Moses-Taylor, and departed this earth on December 14, 2024. He lived in Gary, Indiana all his life. He was a graduate of West Side High School in Gary, Indiana, where he was on the track and field team. After graduation, he attended Vincennes University where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army and served on the Gary Fire Department. He was also a volunteer baseball coach for the Midtown League in Gary, Indiana where he taught many young men the fundamentals of baseball.He was preceded in death by his mother RoseZella Moses-Taylor, his brothers Lawrence Taylor and Robert Taylor, and his sister Willa Mae Torrence.Ralph is survived by his son Ralph Taylor of Las Vegas, NV ,stepson Jermel Fisher, of Atlanta GA; his sisters Loraine Upshaw of East Chicago, IN; and Olivia Hogans of Milwaukee, WI; his brother David Taylor and host of nieces and nephews.
