Age 85 of Monroeville formerly of Shaler Twp. & Etna. On Sun. Feb. 8, 2009, husband of Jean Cahill Trew; father of Kathleen Swazuk, Marleen Dean, Colleen Geyer, Darlene Trew Crist & Jeffrey Trew; also survived by eight grandchildren & three great-grandchildren. Ralph was a WWII Veteran & was a retired Treasurer of National Valve Company. No Visitation. Services & Interment will be Private. Memorial Contributions may be made in honor of his grandson Blaine to Turtle Creek Valley MHMR, 723 Braddock Ave, Braddock, PA. 15104. Arrangements by BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD. Glenshaw, PA.

I'll never forget Mr. Trew taking me under his wings as a new accountant when I joined NAVCO many years ago. His advice and willingness to take a chance with me allowed me to achieve success in my career.

The Trew's were a generous family that welcomed me into their home during my years at the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Trew was a lucky man with five accomplished and successful children.
May the family find comfort and peace in this time of sadness.

Ralph was a real gentleman, and I'm sure he will be missed. My experience of Ralph was that when he was in charge of something, I knew the job would be done right.

Our sympathy is extended to the entire Trew family. Ralph was a resident in the Glenwood Condominium where I served with him on the Executive Board for many years. His devoted service to this community has been remembered for along time after he moved several years ago. We'll miss his long time inputs to our financial well-being.
