Randy Lee Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 3, 2024.
Randy Bret Lee, of Mt Dora, Florida, passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 54. He was born on September 17, 1969, in Plainview, NY, to Rhoda and Jack E. Lee.

Randy was a Beloved Fiance to Holly Cassano, Beloved father to his daughter, Kaelyn Lee, Beloved brother to Laura Jutting and her husband, David and Beloved Uncle to Haley and David M. Jutting.

Randy graduated from Rutgers University in 1991, with a degree in Communications and was a hard working and dedicated employee for an International Hazmat company and he helped build that business from the ground up. He became Director of Global Marketing, where he worked for 30 years, until his retirement due to a long term illness. Along the way, Randy built many long lasting relationships, with his incredible drive and business acumen.

Randy was an avid Horse Racing and Baseball enthusiast. He grew up with his father, Jack E. Lee, who was famous for being the NY METs PA from 1964-1969 and then had a long career in the Harness Racing Industry, WWE and Pro Boxing.

Randy was able to follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps and fulfill his dream of calling races on several occasions at the Meadowlands, NY and Oxford Downs, FL. Randy also owned several race horses and loved the sport with the same passion his father Jack and Grandfather had.

We will continue to Love and miss Randy more than words can express, but we know he is at peace.

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. -2 Timothy 4:7

Merciful God who dwells above, provide a sure rest on the wings of the Divine Presence, amongst the holy and pure who shine as brightly as the sky, to the soul of Randy, son of ( Jack & Rhoda, who has gone on to his eternity. For the sake of the charity which they gave to commemorate his soul, let his rest be in the Garden of Eden. Hence, the Merciful One will shade him forever with his wings, and will bind him in the bundle of life. The LORD is his heritage, and he shall rest peacefully on his bed. So let us say, Amen. -El Malei Rachamim, Jewish Prayer for The Soul

The Horse's Prayer
- I'm only a horse, dear Master, but my heart is warm and true.
I'm ready to work my hardest, for the pleasure of pleasing you.
That, as you have always found me a patient and loyal friend,
The years of my faithful service may be crowned by a peaceful end.
I plead in the name of the Savior, Who cares when the sparrows fall.
Who was born in a lowly stable, and knows, and loves us all!
Your Faithful and loving friend,
The Horse

I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. -John 11:25

My dear Randy, today finally came-the one year anniversary of your passing, along with my dad. I still can't believe and I love you and miss you everyday. I still say the same prayer from the nurse at Advent Health that she gave me in the ER on the morning of 5/4/21. I say it every morning when I walk Zen, who just turned 13 in February and misses you too! I say it in faith, knowing that both you and my father are pain free, restored and are beautiful Angels in God's beautiful Kingdom with our Lord Jesus. God Bless you always my Beshert, you will always be with me.

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's Love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard to rule and guide.

Amen -

Dear Randy, can't believe that it will be one year already since you left us. I want to remember the good times we shared. I am getting older and maybe we will meet again sometime in the near future.
May the Good Lord be with you. Rest in peace.

Dear Holly, I found the Legacy Obituary for Randy today and while I really didn't know him, I wanted to express my sincere sympathy to you on your loss. You were so kind to Frank and me when we purchased the Mission Inn Condo from you that I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all you did to accommodate our needs. I am not sure if you are aware of it, but Frank passed away on April 9. Therefore, I do have some appreciation for your grief and know how much you must miss Randy. You took such good care of him during his illness, and I know he knew how much you loved him.

7 years ago today Rand, we were in NYC and went to the new 9/11 Memorial, South Street Seaport, Delmonicos, the Carole King Musical, Carnegie Deli and other amazing things! It was 2 mos before you closed on the Las Colinas house in Mission Inn, I remember you getting calls from the realtor and negotiating etc and then getting the news the offer was accepted. Good memories! Miss you every day and love you! I know you are pain free and restored to your beautiful self. Give my dad a hug and I hope your having fun with your dad, grandma, mom and grandpa and everyone else you were missing. XOXO My Beshert -

We Celebrated your life my Beshert, Randy on 5/19/24 - It was good to see the family and share fond memories we all have of you, but you are deeply missed. Please know how much you are loved by all of us and we will keep you in our hearts forever.

I brought you home yesterday, 5/23/24 and today marks one month since God called you home.

God of joy and celebration,
For this is Your will and Your way,
That couples should bond to serve each other in joy
And to serve You through the fullness of family,
In mourning and in rejoicing,
Marking the days with thanksgiving and grace.

Love and Miss You Always Randy
