The news of Randy's untimely passing was late getting to me on the west coast. I am deeply saddened to hear of it. I am blessed to have known him and considered him a genuine, caring individual and friend. He played a great service as a match-maker for me way back in high school. He also held my esteem as a solid tenor sax player, a passion we both shared. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Kevin Tegtmeyer, class of '69

To have known such a sincere person so many years ago was my pleasure. As I spoke with another classmate, John Murphy yesterday on the phone, he also wanted to express his sympathy for all involved.

Randy left us way too soon. As a student nurse he brought a dedication to caring not only for his patients but his fellow nursing students. It does not surprise me that he left us as a hero.

Randy had a positvity that was infectious. The world is a poorer place without him. The best tribute we can make in his name is to treat the world with some of his generosity.
