EATON — Randy A. Wysong, 63, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center. He was born Aug. 20, 1957 in Dayton to Florence E. (Petry) Wysong and the late Dale D. Wysong. Randy was a 1975 graduate of Eaton High School. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Miami Valley International for over 20 years, a trade that he learned from his father, whom he worked alongside for many years. He was an avid slot car racer, NASCAR, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan; enjoyed building computers; and most of all, enjoyed grilling out with his family.
He is survived by his mother Florence Wysong of Eaton; sons Jeremy (Angie) Wysong of Richmond and Cory (Sarah) Wysong of Eaton; daughter Lana (Ryan) Coby of Milton, IN; grandchildren Leslie, Galen, Makayla, Jace, Skyler, Nathaniel, Kadence, Wyatt and Viktor; brother Doug (Terri) Wysong of Eaton; niece Abby and nephew Stuart.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton. In lieu of flowers, everyone is encouraged to bring an item in memory of Randy which will be placed in a time capsule to be interred near a tree that will be planted in his memory.
