Dorothy and family,
Ray has meant a great deal to us ever since we first met in 1971. What great times we had together "fixing" TV's and climbing those darn towers. The laughs the four of us had Saturday evenings after a hard day at work. This was our first year of marriage and Ross was only a few months old. Remember the visit from Santa, banging on the pipes, and good old Mr. Boston. Remember fondly those times at this time of grief. My son, Ross, who now lives in Wheaton, spotted this obituary by accident and immediately sent word to us since he knew of us talking of Ray and your family so much. Thanks for all you have done for Sharon and I and for sharing your lives and family with us. Your first downstairs renters at Lee. Rock and Sharon Gentry

Dear Bob and Family,

Sorry to hear about your Dad! I worked for him at the Lee grade school when I was a teenager. Later in life I became his neighbor. I could never forget that laugh of his, he was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. May God bless you all during this trying time.

Sincerely, Randy Holle

I may be alot older now, but I'll always be his "sweetie"! I know Grandpa is in a better place now; he will be looking down on us and protecting us in our daily lives.

Heaven must be laughing, with Ray now gone Home. He'd make a fence post laugh. What a blessing that man was! And what a character. Miss Dorothy must have had to hold on to her hat every time he walked in the door. God bless and keep him and his wonderful family. We at Salem will miss him so.

Dorothy and family -
Ray was good-hearted and had a wonderful sense of humor. He always made those around him feel happy and had a way of lightening up every situation. He was a great soul that added a lot to our world. I'm glad I was a part of the family and spent time around both him and Dorothy. The world has been a better place to have had him in it.

Dorothy and Family, Ray was a special man
and we will miss his sense of humor and
kindness. He sure loved to kidd around with
people. May you be blessed with wonderful
memories of such a great man. I know Rick
will miss having an occasional glass of wine with both of you.
Please call if we can help in any way.

To Bob & Family,
My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family on the passing of Ray. I certainly enjoyed running into him at Culver's on Thursday's as his humor was always appreciated.
