Raymond Crowe passed away February 23, 2023 at the age of 76. Ray was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Katherine (nee Crowe) Cappella (Robert), Brian Crowe, and the late Daniel Crowe. Dear grandpop of Stephanie (Stephen), Christopher, and Hailey. Great grandpop of Dominick, Lucas, Noah, and Isaac. Dear brother of Marie Gildein (Walt), and the late Robert and Thomas Crowe and also a brother-in-law of Margaret Crowe and Rose Hamner (Rich). He will also be sadly missed by his loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and his cherished pup Cinnamon. Ray was a proud member the Mummers Duffy String Band where he played the Banjo; he also enjoyed playing Pinochle, was an avid Philly sports fan who never missed a game.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday March 2, 2023 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 at 8:30 AM followed by his Service at 10:00 AM. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be sent to the VA Medical Center 3900 Woodland Ave. Phila., PA 19104.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father Kathy. Mr. Crowe was a nice man. He loved his family and was always there for you, Ms.Crowe, Brian, Steph or anyone that needed him, without question. May you all find peace and comfort during this difficult time. He was adored and will be truly missed by his family and friends.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ray. He was a 50 year member of American Legion Post 810 and will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences from my family to yours.
