Mr. Myette,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalions during WW II. The men who served with the Seabees were some of the unsung heroes of the War. They built advanced bases, airfields, and improved naval anchorages and when they had to, were ready to put down their tools and pick up a weapon and fight. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Years ago my mom worked for Ray at the Safford Market.....her name was Mrs. Clark.....she has been gone 33 years now, but I still remember her telling us how kind and generous Ray was to her.

October 26, 2009

I knew Ray most of my life and feel he was part of my extended family, as well as ALL of the Myettes. He always offered a smile whenever he saw you. He had a great life and a wonderful family to share his journey through life with. I feel honored in having known him all these years. He will be missed. You're all in our hearts and prayers at this difficult time. Hang on to your memories....they really ARE precious.

With love and sympathy,
