Raymond Pontieri Obituary
Born in Patchogue, N.Y., Mr. Pontieri joined the Navy after graduating from high school. After an honorable discharge, he settled in Falmouth, where he began his career as a plumber in the late 1940s.
Mr. Pontieri is survived by five children; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans Dept. of MA, Room 546 State House, Boston, MA 02133-1042.
