Raymond Carl Brock of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 83 years of age. He was born June 27, 1940 in Sunsbury Twp., OH and grew up in the small village of Beallsville, a son of Charlie Ensel and Mary Sophia (Kimpel) Brock. He graduated from Beallsville High School, 1958 and Chicago Technical College, 1960.

Raymond was a kind-hearted, fun-loving family man who was devoted to his faith and dedicated himself to providing for his loved ones and serving others. In addition to spending time with his immediate family, he was devoted to his church family, loved music and singing praises to God. Raymond began drafting work with Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric in Columbus, OH and in January 1966 began a 42-year career with Star Building Systems in Oklahoma City, retiring in 2007 as a field sales district manager.

He was a Buckeye fan and enjoyed sunrises on the beach. A high-light of his life was time spent with his three children - Gary (Lisa) Brock of Fort Smith, AR; Pam (Sterling) Lee of Colorado Springs, CO; & Marcia (John) Harrison of Georgetown, SC; and six grandchildren - Andrew (Nicole) Brock & Kristen (Weston) Lacewell; Morgan (Patrick) Lee; Rachel (Anton) Dereventsov, Jonathan, & Kaitlyn Harrison; and great granddaughter, Ivy Lacewell. He will be missed so much by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Paul and Larry and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ralph & Clara Ault, and long-time friend, Edwin W. Bartilson, II.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Smith of Woodsfield, his loving wife, Grace (Ault) Brock, of Murrells Inlet, SC, whom he married November 20, 1960, and his sisters-in-law, Betty (Marion - deceased) Brock-King, Orrville, OH; Jean (Edwin -deceased) Bartilson, Columbia, MO and Peggy (Tom) Sharpe, Nashville, TN; and step mother-in-law, Naomi Ault, Woodsfield, OH.
