Raymond and I, along with Lloyd Peckman, Don Herrs, Ron Reifel, Noel Keller, and Lester Bartels, and Lorene Kettler Medlin, were the students who were confirmed from the 8th grade at the Trinity Lutheran School, Block, many years ago around 1950, I know that Lloyd and I are still alive, and I think maybe Noel and Lester, but we keep losing others (of course, we are all 86 years of age). Raymond was a quiet man in school, however, my deceased husband, Bob Prothe, would visit with him at the Fontana Elevator and always enjoyed talking to him in past years before 2012. Raymond was a good man
