Fair Lawn - Raymond James Salort, III, age 32, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on November 1, 2020. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at Vander Plaat-Caggiano F.H., Fair Lawn, www.vpfairlawn.com. Mass Friday 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Church, Fair Lawn. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.

My son Justin and Ray were good friends when they were young. I’ll never forget years ago my son told me he was at a Rutgers party before he went there himself. He saw Ray at the party and Ray told him “ Hey Jut, he said. You have plenty of years to party , and fool around with girls but you have only one opportunity to make something of yourself.. “ He turned my sons head around with that statement.
Obviously wise, and whenever I saw him he had a smile, you could feel his kindness.
May he Rest In Peace.

I heard from Taruna about you loss. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Although I didn't know your son well, I have only heard incredible things about his generosity and kindness towards others. May his soul Rest In Peace. Amen. I am thinking of you and praying to God to give you strength and comfort to survive during this difficult time.
