Raymond Sumpter Obituary
Raymond was born January 1, 1960 in Davenport, the son of Freddie and Beverly Jean (Hahn) Sumpter.
During his life he was employed and retired at UPS.
Raymond enjoyed stock car racing, fishing, playing baseball, spending time with his grandchildren, father, family and friends.
He will be missed by his wife, Jill; children, Jessie, Jamie, Ray J.; his three grandchildren, Cayson, Scottlynn, and Josslynn; father, Freddie and Judy Sumpter; sisters, Lisa and Al McWilliams, Sheila Sumpter, Christine Behne, Rhonda Schnoor; and many nieces and nephews. We all love you and will miss you, Raymond.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly, and his sister, Dana Sumpter.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and caring thoughts.

Jill, Jessie, Jamie, Ray J... I wish to give you my sympathy but, more importune, my shoulder to lean upon in this darken time. Just remember, he went peacefully and the years of memories you have are the pieces of Ray's heart that he's left behind for you to always cherish! If any of you ever need me, please feel free to call or come by! Always my love to all of you!
