Sue, Julie and Andy:
My heart felt condolences go out to you and your family. I will cherish the many fond memories of times shared on Lake Lanier or New Years parties in St. Mtn. and Ray singing his heart out to anyone who would listen. Ray knew how to gather a crowd. Between his love and talent for music, and his uplifting personality, I’m sure there are a lot of smiles in heaven right now, Mel and Ruby to name two. Thoughts and prayers will be sent your way.
Love,
Maggie McGarity

To the family and friends of Ray ( Sharp) Waterhouse Please accept my deepest sympathies.
My connection with Ray is a musical one. 41 years ago Ray managed a group called " Candy Store" aka "Candy"and produced their record at Parkway studios in Philadelphia. I recently reconected with Ray after 41 years through the internet, we were able to reminisce about our memories of Somers Point, NJ with the music clubs of "Bayshores", "Tony Marts" and "The Dunes" ( the Dunes til dawn ) and the people we both knew and work with at those lengendary music clubs in the late 60's and early 70's..... Thanks for the memories Ray!
You are now among the Immortals

to the Waterhouse family. As a friend of the deceased Charlie Fisher, we spoke many times about Ray and his love for music. I attended Ray's performances when he was in the Harriburg, Pa. area. and most recently saw him at Charlie's funeral. I have one of his cds and listen to it quite often to pick up on his style. He was a really nice guy and a kindred spirit to another music lover. I am sorry to see him gone as we had much music to discuss, but he is now at the best place with the Master musician and the Lord of all, Jesus Christ

Dear Sue,
I am saddened to hear of Ray's passing. I remember him as truly one of the "good guys" as a Sales Manager, as a singer and as a friend. I will not forget the evenings in your basement doing all of the 50s and 60s with both of you. Please pass on my sincere condolences to all of your family and celebrate his life.

Sue you probably do not remember me. I am a close friend of Rich and Uzella. I do remember you and Ray as terrific people and I am saddened by Rays passing. You and the children are in my prayers. May God Bless You All.

Dear Sue, Julie and Andy;
We are saddened that we cannot be there to celebrate Ray's life. We take solace in 42 years of memories from our first meeting in Vineland, NJ in 1967. Ray asked Sue 'What was her name again?' - Ray falling in the back yard trying To scare Uzella ("I'll never try to scare you again, I ripped my kneecap!'). - I remember helping carry that HEAVY Leslie up and down the stairs when Ray went out on 'gigs'. - tutoring Ray for the Lodge - All the good times in Turnersville, NJ. - Our kids having fun together at our reunion in Myrtle Beach. - Lake Lanier - Until we meet again, Ray...keep singing! Life is so short and Ray & Sue were such a huge and special part of ours. We watched their kids grow as the summers passed and our times on the lake with them seemed to make time stand still. What wonderful memories! Ray will be so sorely missed for his personality & his music. Sue, our thoughts, prayers, and sympathy go out to you and the family. Love,
John Cole

You made a lot of people happy over the years with your music Ray. I enjoyed sharing a part of your life and all the music we made together for the boat people at Lake Lanier. We will all miss you dearly.
