Rebecca Bloom Obituary
Rebecca was born April 18, 1955, in Garrett to Don E. and Joan V. (Fechner) Treesh.
Rebecca worked as an estimating manager at Superior Canopy in Hamilton for over 20 years.
Rebecca is survived by her sons, Patrick (Stephanie) Bloom, Yorktown, and Kristopher Bloom, Columbia City; mother Joan V. Treesh Reetz, Garrett; grandchildren Carter, Chase and Cortlyn Bloom, Columbia City and Grace and Griffin Bloom, Yorktown.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Don E. Treesh; a sister, Roxanne Walter; and two infant brothers, Michael A. and Patrick D. Treesh.
Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett, with Father Jim Shafer officiating.
Memorials are to the grandchildren's college fund, in care of Patrick Bloom.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett.

So sorry to hear this news. I went to school with Becky but we were not classmates. I remember her treating everyone fairly & what a fun loving gal she was! Her sense of humor was so fun!! I will never forget her. May she rest in peace.
PS- Joan, my parents were Bob & Edna Parker, antique people like you so long ago. My condolences.

Joan, Kris & Pat,
As Becky's older cousin, I remember her from her first days until her last. As kids we spent time playing while our parents talked for what seemed hours and drank what seemed bottomless cups of coffee. She told me at Christmas dinner at another cousin's that my mom always called her Becky Ann. "No one else did that," she laughed. Becky will be missed and always loved.

I knew Becky from school also. Becky always could make a person smile if not laugh with her own contagious laugh. Becky was welcoming to everyone she met. I will never forget her ability to make others feel comfortable.

With our heartfelt Sympathies to Joan and family. Becky will be always with a smile and great listener. He birthday was 3 days before mine, I'm older, she say the many birthday calls through the years.
Patrick and Kristopher, your Mom was an extra awesome friend of mine in grade school. Joan you were an amazing Mom, if you need to talk call me. In fact, her first day of the Catholic school, I was her sponsor, she was so cute that day, never stop talking and became a beautiful teenager, her and Roxie were friends and they're together now.
