Rena Turtle Obituary
Browning - Rena Gail Turtle was born June 17, 1961, in Browning, Montana, to Joseph Turtle and Edna Munro Turtle. She passed away from congestive heart failure on October 5, 2015, in Auburn, Washington, while visiting her nephew, Don Munro.
Rena is survived by two daughters, Charity (Dean) Oscar and Philisha (Josh) LaMere; three brothers, Leslie (Gwen) Munro, Kelly (Daphne) Good Eagle, and Paul Good Eagle; two sisters, Martina (Hamady) Dia and March Elaine Turtle. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Josie, Baby Josh, Jazlyn, Jace LaMere; and numerous nieces and nephews, along with other relatives both here and in Canada.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Joe and Edna, two sisters JoAnn Turtle and Evangaline Big Beaver, and one brother Joseph Turtle Jr. (Sonny Man).
Rena had many hobbies but her favorites were knitting and crocheting in which she was a real artist. She also loved to travel and play stickgame throughout the country.
Her schooling consisted of attending grade school and high school in Browning.
We would like to say a special thanks to her nephews in Washington, Don Munro and Ken (ET) Gopher, for all that you did for our Mom while she was in Washington.
Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 12, in the Four Winds Assembly of God Church in Browning.
