Renard "Weedy" "Mickey D" Michael Fournette, Jr., transitioned on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the age of 27. He was born August 1, 1994 in New Orleans, LA to Dionchelle Bazile and Renard Michael Fournette Sr. Stepson of Terry Fournette. Renard received Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age. He graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School and was employed by Delgado Community College and Compass Furniture Store Warehouse. Father of Renard Michael Fournette, III, Tru Earl, Jaden Trench, and Keilyn Hamilton. Grandson of Shirley Bazile, Iona, Leonard Fournette and the late Lester Mitchell, Sr. Brother of Thaddeus Ramsey, Randell Sanchez, Reionne and Reynell Fournette, Terriana Sanchez and the late Darius Bazile. Fiancé of Silkyla Trench. Preceded in death by two uncles, Bryan and Lester Bazile. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Renard "Weedy" "Mickey D" Fournette, Jr. will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave., New Orleans, LA.
