On May 8th, 2020, Renee Louise Johnston, a loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 60. Renee was born on January 21st, 1960 in Brownsville, Texas to George and Mildred Zarski.  She lived in Conroe for 45 years and worked alongside her loving husband, David Johnston, as a land surveyor for 40 plus years. On December 7th, 1980 she married David and they went on to raise two daughters, Ashley and Raleigh.

Renee loved the outdoors, which shined through her work and through hobbies such as fishing. She was extremely passionate about music and the arts, and was an incredible cook. She was bright, quick-witted, extremely eloquent, and always offered a safe and warm home for visitors and friends.

She is survived by her husband, David; two daughters, Ashley, Raleigh, their husbands, Kevin Tomczak and Justynn Willingham; three grandsons, Max, Hoyt, and Kipson and her sister-in-law, Susan and mother-in-law, Alice and many other dear friends.

There will be a private graveside service for the family at Danville-Shepherd Hill Cemetery in Willis, Texas. Arrangements have been entrusted to Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
