Renée Clement Jordano

Renée Clement Jordano passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 26, 2024, while vacationing with her daughter & son-in-law after celebrating a happy family Christmas with her children in Busch Gardens.

Born August 2, 1961 in New Orleans, she resided in Mandeville.

She is survived by her loving children Melissa Jordano Gradziel (Jerimiah Gradziel) & Adam Joseph Jordano, furry companion Zoe, grand-animals Zucchini, Shambie & Oreo. (She loved animals.)

She is also survived by her siblings Laura Hallock (Fred), Carliss Knesel (Greg ) & Robyn Helmstetter (Mike), nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Clement, father Joseph Carl Clement, sister Jan Markezich, nephew Mark Markezich and niece Elizabeth Hall.

She raised her two children as a single parent while working full time at LSU Dental School as a Dental Assistant for over 30 years. Renée enjoyed going to the Mandeville Community center to visit with her friends, playing bingo and dice games.

She's remembered as being funny, loving, caring, kind, calm, compassionate, patient, protective, and always understanding.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held at Our Lady of The Lake at 11AM Saturday Jan. 18, 2025.

Celebration of Life to follow at McClain's Pizzeria, friends of the family.

I met Renee at Hair Shack. She was such a genuine sweet woman. I will miss seeing her and making her smile.
