July 22, 1932 - December 3, 2015
Reuben Randle passed away on Thursday December 3, 2015 at the age of 83 years at the High River Hospital. Born in Calgary, Alberta to parents George and Nina Randle. He will be dearly missed by his sisters Limora Jones of Okotoks and her family and Amelia Pal (Art) of Victoria, BC and her family and brother Fred Randle of High River and his family. Nephew Randle Johnson of St. Helena, California and his family niece Millie Anderson of San Rafael, California and her family. Also the many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in and around High River. He was predeceased by a sister Ellen Johnson. Reuben was educated in High River and went on to Oklahoma University to become a petroleum engineer. For the next 60 years he work for Texaco Exploration, farmed, wrote the 150 years Randle family genealogy. A mathematician, scientist, teacher, inventor he helped many people but most of all was a good true friend. Reuben's family would like to give a huge thanks to the doctors and nurses who gave him so much loving care and comfort during his time of needs when in the Tom Baker Cancer Center and the High River Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, High River. In lieu of flowers consider a donation in Reuben's memory to the High River Hospital Foundation 560 9 Ave S.W., High River, AB T1V 1B3.
