It basketball tournament time and I am a retired teacher/coach. My thoughts about games, teams, referees and such came to mind. I feel badly that I didn’t make the opportunity to talk to rich after us retiring. Rich was at the top of my list of outstanding officials. What an fair-minded, professional, competent “ref” he was. And off the court. A caring, conscientious gentleman and friend. I’m sorry to hear especially so late of his passing.

This evening (5.19.16), I was speaking with a Cintas representative, which got me thinking of my time working in the service department of Saturn of Pleasant Hills in the late 1990's. I then did some searching on line, and sadly, found that Rich had passed.

Rich was wonderful not just to work for, but to work with. He was truly a gentleman, showing respect to every customer, and knew how to elicit the best from everyone.

Your family will continue to be in our prayers, and I know he is still watching out for all of us.

Donna, the news has me and the entire Falconi operations stunned and deeply saddened. Rich was one of a kind. He was a truly unique gentlemen. A quality man who had the respect of all his customers and fellow employees.

May God Bless You and your family during this difficult time. Rich fought a courageous battle without complaint.

Heaven has its' newest angel. From me and the entire staff and management, our deepest sympathies.

Rest in peace, our dear friend.

Donna,
I'm so sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I have fond memories of working together with him. He taught me a lot about the business. He was quick with a joke and loved his basketball. He will be missed.
Please except our condolences.
