Richard Dennis Barbeau, 53 Of W. Caln Township Richard Dennis Barbeau, 53, passed away on July 27, 2011. Richard was the son of Ellen (nee Watson) and the late Robert Barbeau. Richard worked as a sales representative in the roofing industry. He was a great husband and father who had a great sense of humor. Richard was an avid golfer who enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a graduate of the Restaurant School in Philadelphia. Survivors: In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his loving wife Marguerite (nee McCrossan) Barbeau; his beloved daughter Amanda Barbeau; his dear grandson Declan Barbeau; also his siblings Mary Ellen Dykhouse, Geri Barbeau-Leonard, Robert Barbeau Jr., Bernadette Verdi, James Barbeau and Joan Ryan. Pre-deceased by his sister Lucille Mazur. Service: Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 10 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W. 2nd Ave. Parkesburg, PA 19365. Calling hours will be Monday eve 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday 8 to 9 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080. Dear Marguerite and Amanda,

Therese and I were so sorry to hear the news of Rich's sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Rich was a true man's man, and they just don't make them like that anymore. There was never a dull moment when we would get together with him. He was a live wire. He will be deeply missed in our hearts and in the neighborhood and at the card table.
