Richard Glover Obituary
Glover, Richard D. – of Clio, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday September 22, 2022, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. The family will receive visitors from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11:30am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service.
Richard was born August 26, 1951, in Flint, Michigan. On September 14, 1985, he married the love of his life, Mary Vida. He loved spending time with family and friends at his cabin up north. He enjoyed attending car shows with the car club and taking trips to the casino.
He was the life of the party. No one he encountered ever stayed a stranger. He brought so much joy to everyone around him; he lit up the room with his smile and laugh. He never took himself too seriously, always having the best time. The family will not be the same without him. He was well loved, and he loved well.
Left to cherish his memory are Wife: Mary Glover; Daughter: Taylor Glover; Siblings: Ed (Duana) Shreve and Joan Shreve; Stepfather: Joe Fox; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Richard was proceeded in death by his mother Marion Fox, brother Terry Shreve and sister-in-law Olga Fias.

Rick was working for my dad in the 70's at Maples Collision way before I was old enough to drive. He was a total jokester and a lot of fun to be around. He stopped at our shop about 3 times earlier this year and looked good. I'm really going to miss him. He was just like family. Rest in peace Rick.

I am a few yrs.younger than Richard, but knew him well.Another one gone from the Ole Hood way too soon? I grew up on Burroughs Ave.Richard grew up on Buckingham Ave. and Red Arrow.We in the Ole Hood knew everyone who lived and played there.GOD REST HIS SOUL.AMEN!!#
