Richard Lester Johnston, Jr., 64 of Bay St. Louis, MS died in Wellington, KS on Saturday, December 17, 2005. He was born on September 25, 1941 in Bay St. Louis, MS and was a lifelong resident. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Johnston; son, Thomas Raymond Johnston; parents, Richard & Dorothy Johnston, Sr.; brother, James Henry Johnston; and a sister, Mary Antoinette Johnston.
He is survived by 2 sons, Richard C. Johnston of Wellington, KS, Donald P. Johnston, Sr. of Bay St. Louis, MS; daughter, Angela M. Johnston of Wellington, KS; 2 brothers, Patrick Johnston & Dennis Johnston both of Waveland, MS; sister, Sylvia Peterson of Waveland, MS; 3 grandchildren, Brandi LaFontaine, Courtney Johnston, and Donald P. Johnston, Jr.; and 2 great grandchildren, Kiersten & Jazmin LaFontaine.
Visitation is Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. A graveside service will follow at 11:20 A.M. at Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to Bay Side Volunteer Fire Dept., 6218 West Hinds, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

WE enjoyed having him with us for the short time that he was here in Kansas with us . He will be missed very much.Our children fell in love with him. And they loved to hear his stories about their pawpee (grandpa). Our love and prayers go out to his kids.
