Richard Mark Juneau

February 11,1958- July 18-2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, pawpaw and friend Richard "Ricky" Juneau. Ricky was born in LaPlace, Louisiana went to high school in Jackson, Louisiana where he was a star quarterback for the football team. His love of football carried on through out his life and he remained a die hard New Orleans Saints fan. Following high school he joined the United States Navy where he worked in communication. After his discharge from the the Navy he continued his career in telecommunications until his retirement.

He loved his children, grandchildren and all of his family very much. Often he would call and have short "check in" calls. They may have only lasted a couple of minutes but I know all of us will miss hearing that phone ring knowing he is on the other side.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents James E and Clara Juneau, his wife Mary Juneau, brother Randy Juneau and son James E Juneau II.

Ricky is survived by his siblings David Juneau, Keno Juneau, Linda Carter, Chad Juneau, and Twyna Juneau. His children Richard Paul Juneau, Angie Juneau, Misty Juneau, Anthony and Katie Douthit and Adam Moore. Grandchildren Branden Juneau, Tayla Deville, Meagan Hayes, Madison Hayes, Beaux Juneau, Gaige Ulerick, Virginia Warnement, Noah Warnement, Brooklyn Bardall, Jibril Juneau, Zelda Douthit, Xena Douthit, Jayden Juneau and Mia Juneau. He also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ricky's life was full of love, family, cajun food and sports. He loved hard and and will continue to be loved by all who knew him.

A memorial will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 20th for both Ricky and Mary Juneau, exact time and location will be announced.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Juneau family loss go fund me account in order to off set some of the expenses of having to memorialize both Ricky and Mary. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
