LINDNER, Richard A.; born on September 8, 1924 to Alfred and Alice Lindner; of Waterford, MI formerly of Clarkston, MI and Cedarburg, WI; passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 98; preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; father of Pat (Gerry) Romano and Pamela Jay; “papa” grandpa of Eric (Laura) Jay, Natalie (John) Andrews and Michelle (Matt) Rockwood; great grandpa of Johnny Andrews, Ben Rockwood, Tommy Rockwood, Elliott Jay and Reid Jay; brother of Ruth Ketcham. Richard served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was stationed in London, England. He retired as a teacher from Cedarburg, WI schools. He enjoyed camping, coin collecting, target shooting and collecting tropical fish. He was a talented woodworker and gardener. Memorial service Wednesday, March 15th at 2:00pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at Canterbury-on-the-Lake, Waterford. Private inurnment All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.
