Richard Lee Lucas

Richard Lee Lucas was born on July 4, 1972 in Fairfax, Virginia. He passed on April 17, 2021 at his home in Chantilly, Virginia. Richard had quite a few nicknames, i.e., Ricky, Slick, Bubba, and Tiny. Ricky accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at an early age. He attended school in Fairfax County. He worked in the automotive trade in various positions. Ricky loved anything with a motor, but especially motorcycles and Volkswagens. Ricky loved people and they loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory Stephanie, the love of his life and the mother of his two children Daijah and Phoenix, his mother Betty Lucas, his father, Richard Lee Woods (Pearl), one sister, Anjail Taylor (McKewyn), one uncle, Larry Lucas, his aunts: Mary Bell (Walter), Josephine Lucas-Neish, Elizabeth Scott (Robert), Bessie Lucas, Mary Lou Lucas, Debbie Lucas, Susie Penic, and Rose Woods-Crisp, 2 nephews: Dairyon & Dari'us Makins, 2 nieces: Taylahn & Meilahna Taylor, his cousins: Yolanda Shorts (John), Pamela Philpott (Jesse), David Bell, Shree Lucas, Taryn Scott, Thomas Lucas, Jr., Shemar Lucas, Darrion Allen, Curtis (CJ) Harris, and Karsandra Woods-Shaw, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27th from 10-11 a.m. at Dale City Christian Church, 14022 Lindendale Road, Dale City Virginia. VA. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. The service will be streamed live on Facebook at www.dccccofpraise.org. Interment at Hume Cemetery (Mount Morris Baptist), Hume, VA. Dale City Christian Church will be following CDC and Virginia state mandated Covid-19 measures. Temperatures will be taken at the door, masks are required, and social distancing will be practiced.
