Richard W. Miller

Richard W. Miller, age 59, formerly of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Vitas Hospice in Stratford, NJ. He was born in Camden NJ to the late Doris Mae Miller (Webb). Richard graduated from Cherry Hill West in 1976. After high school, he enlisted with the Merchant Marines from 1976 to 1990. He also worked as a tow truck driver for Lotts Garage in Moorestown for several years. In his younger years, Richard enjoyed backpacking and hiking. He loved the outdoors, nature and especially fishing. He was a loving son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed.
Richard is predeceased by his mother Doris M. Miller and his two siblings Loretta Scheffler and John Miller. He is survived by his eight siblings, Jean Oram, Judith Tomasetto, Kathy Miller-Clark, Faye Miller-Dilks, Gary Miller, Sandra Walter, Daniel Miller, and Connie Gross as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00PM at his sister Connie's residence, 7 Oakford Avenue, New Egypt, NJ 08533. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
