Richard T. Richmond Sr., 74, of Burlington passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 surrounded by his family, at Cambridge Crossing in Moorestown. Born in Trenton, Rich resided in Imlaystown for many years and was a graduate of Allentown High School. He owned and operated, along with his father and brother, Richmond Moving Company. Rich was an avid sports fan, especially the NY Yankees and Giants and loved spending time with his family.
Son of the late George “Red” and Elizabeth “Agnes” Richmond, he was predeceased by his brothers, Philip and John Richmond and his sister-in-law, Susan Richmond. Rich is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard Jr. and June Richmond, his daughters and son-in-law, Nicole and Scott Smith and Michele Cree and her fiancé, Rich Wilber, and Dan Campbell who was like a son to him. Rich is also survived by his grandchildren, Jason Cowan, Karissa Richmond, McKenna Cree and Annabell Wilber, his great granddaughter, Cameron Cowan as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 12pm on Friday, April 2nd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rich’s name to Oaks Integrated Care, Attn. Development Office, 770 Woodlane Road, Mount Holly, NJ 08060.
Please be aware that there is limited capacity at the funeral home. Social distancing must be observed, and face covering must be worn at the funeral home and cemetery.
