Richard came to Russia in 2000. He was so amazing. He was so humble and what a blessing he was to the Russian believers. God bless his family and may God continue to comfort them.

The Shakarian Family has blessed our lives for more than 40 years. Serving with Demos, and then with Richard and Vangie is a heritage that our entire family values. The endless energies that you have all used to pursue the mission God gave you, have inspired as well as saved hundreds of thousands around the world. Thank you for your leadership. One of our greatest memories with Richard and Vangie was our trip to Jerusalem. Our God has united us in many ways; and Vangie, Brenda, Terry and all are in our prayers and part of our blessings that we are so thankful for. With Love, Bob and Bonnie Nations

This was special after having travelled for so many hours!
Richard, You have fought the good fight, you have run the race....enter into the Joy of the Lord. We will miss you. Our love & prayers are with Vangie and all your family and the FGBMFI family. We would love to be with you all to celebrate Richards life. We hope to watch the service on FB at (4:00a.m. Sat. our time!) Lovingly, Doug & Pauline Gray from Queensland, AUSTRALIA.

People come and go, but amazing HERO's come rarely in a lifetime. Richard, you have been a hero to me. The honor and privilege to be friends, to serve together, to develop strategies to help the world together, for me to have such a great visionary leader in you, has changed my life. I will never forget you my friend, and I will always love you until we all catch up together again. You truly changed the world, and millions are and will be in heaven just because of you. Rest my friend. Pastor Marty A. Celaya - Lifetime Member of FGBMFI

I will miss you Richard. I'm so glad we were able to spend time together earlier this year in Las Vegas at the national convention. Vangie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Demos, Rose and Richard are together with the Lord. When the loss is so great for us on earth, there are no words that can fully express our sympathy. Apostle Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord Jesus. Our faith believes this and our hope is in these words.

I remember Richard calling me twice lthis year and we visited on the phone. He so longed to have the World Convention on satellite TV in San Pedro Sula. I tried to call him but my phone experienced water damage and I lost the entire Shakarian family data. The news was to tell him GOD TV is launching a total Latin American channel in 2018! This may answer that desire in the very near future. Richard, it's time to rest but God heard that prayer. Brenda and Terry push on in the call of the FGBMFI!
