In memoriam – Richard Samuel Spiker, age 90, of Santa Rosa, California, went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2025, at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 7, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richard remained a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, proudly waving his "Terrible Towel" whenever they played. His early life was marked by service and adventure. A veteran of the United States Army and Korean War, Richard was a Purple Heart recipient. He went on to live in Japan for a time, sparking a love for travel that led him to explore much of the globe.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Mary Corrigan Patricia of Santa Rosa, California. He was a cherished grandfather to Rebecca Clark of Reno, Nevada, and Jessica Phipps. He is predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Harry Spiker, both of Pennsylvania.
