I worked with Bud in the 1980s and 90s at Veterans Affairs, where he was very well liked by veterans, staff, and other physicians.
A truly charming man, always helpful and in a good mood.

Bud was a sincere friend since we met at UBC Medical School in 1952. He was a caring, compassionate doctor. He was always earnest to help with his knowledge and skills.

Quirky doesn't even begin to describe Mr. Pritchard, but it's a good start. He was one of a kind and full of mischief: no one who met him could easily forget him. Many thanks to a man who brought silliness to a world that can always use more silliness and more souls like Mr. P. In loving remembrance, Jean Reddington (Steve Brazeau).

It was always a pleasure chatting with Dr.Bud Pritchard when he worked at Shaughnessy Hospital Pensions Dept., back in the 1980's. Those were happy days. He will never be forgotten by those Veterans, whose lives he touched. God bless you "Dr.Bud" on your final journey to Paradise.
