Rita Mitchell Obituary
NEWARK: Rita R. Roe Mitchell 61, of Newark, Ohio passed away November 24, 2011 at Grant Medical Hospital Columbus, Ohio. Rita was born July 9, 1950 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Charles C. "Ike"and Audrey I. Mitchell.
Surviving are sons, Jack Mitchell of Newark, Michael Anthony (Cathy) Mitchell of Newark, Matthew Todd Mitchell of Newark, and Jamie Lee Mitchell of Worthington; daughters, Denise Renee Mitchell of Newark, and Stacy Lynnette (Paul) Mitchell of Newark, and Lisa (Scott) Davis of Newark; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Larry L. (Marlene) Mitchell of Murray City; Tom (Janet) Mitchell of Murray City; Michael Mitchell of Murray City; Charlotte (Richard) Buchanan of Trimble; of Murray City. Carolyn Crothers of Murray City; Vickie (Eugene) Duncan of Glouster; and Cheryl (Mike) Dupler of Murray City.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Charles Henry Roe; sister Judy Vasko; and brother-in-law Earl Crothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Denise and Ashley and the rest of the mitchell family, my mom was friends with you denise and wanted to send her sympathy. Its hard loosing a mother, even if its known they are still going to die,the hurt still hits you maybe even a little harder. Remember the good times you had together, the laughter through the years. Even though theres no guarantee that the hurt will go away in this lifetime, it does get a little better with time. The tears of sorrow for loosing a loved one will eventually turn to tears of happiness with remembering the precious memories you had together.
Even though we (my mom n I) live far, if you need anything please contact us. Even if its just to get away, you and your entire family are more than welcome to come visit either where my mom is in kentucky or in florida where I am.
You are in our thoughts n prayers through this rough time. May you find some peace through this.
