My first memory of Bob? Painting apartment window frames. He was quiet and gentle as long as I knew him.

I always felt a kindness, a gentleness, an acceptance around Bob, as a pre-teen when I met him. He and Heather granted me entry into their home and lives as I grew formatively during those years in Riverside Park. I recall once Bob took us out one night - it felt late and unknown - to go away from the city to see a meteor shower. It was amazing and nowadays whenever someone mentions meteors or a meteor shower or even if I see amazing pictures of the celestial, I don´t have to think about it at all before Bob and that memory pops into my mind.

My heartfelt condolences to you all, the Baums. Heather, Jenny and Jesse, I know of your grief and send you my love.

Rest among the peaceful stars, Bob. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
