Robert L. Behanna

Robert L. Behanna, 71, of Carroll Township, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at his home. Mr. Behanna was born in Carroll Township on Jan. 7, 1936, a son of the late Clarence and Helen Morrison Behanna. He retired as a welder/fitter for Joy Technologies, Meadowlands. Mr. Behanna was Protestant by faith and a member of Tri County Lodge No. 643. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Bobby" Behanna; two brothers, William and James Behanna; and a sister, Gerry. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kathleen "Kittsie" Hundzienski Behanna; a son, Michael Behanna and wife, Jennifer, of Millsboro; a daughter, Michelle L. Behanna, at home; two grandchildren, Wade Michael and Shane Robert Behanna; and a sister, Ada Beal, of Covina, Calif. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JAMES A. RABE FUNERAL HOME INC., 701 Thompson Ave., Donora (724-379-9020), where services will be held Friday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Hanna of St. John's Episcopal Church in Donora officiating. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
