COMO, Robert (Bob) May 31, 1921 - August 7, 2004 It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Robert Como of St. Albert, Alberta. Robert leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife of 58 years, Connie, as well as his children: Leslie (Ken) Leibel; Beverley Como (Randy Heys), of N. Vancouver; Doug (Barb) Como; Casey (Susan) Como and Jeffrey Como, of Calgary. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Adin (Kari), Michael (Elaine) and Jared (Carmen Woida) Leibel; Jennifer and Stephanie Heys; Kaylen and Jesse Como; Christopher Como, Alisha and Tannis Gunderson as well as his great-grandchildren: Conner, Carly, Garrett, Cohen and Dane. As the eldest of his surviving siblings, Robert will also be greatly missed by his brothers Roy and Raymond and his sister Adrienne Michalchuk. He was predeceased by his father Hector, mother Eva and sister Ruby. Bob loved life and lived it to the fullest. He particularly enjoyed reflecting on his achievements in baseball and curling, his successful business - Como Gas Services Ltd. and Connie's and his extensive travels over the years with wonderful friends. His great sense of humour and strength of character will always be remembered by those who knew him. A Memorial Service will take place at the St. Albert Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2004. Inurnment to follow at the St. Albert Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Boys' and Girls' Clubs, 9425 - 109A Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 1G1 would be greatly appreciated. St. Albert Funeral Home~Connelly-McKinley Ltd.
