Robert Grout Obituary
Bob, as he was known to family and friends, is survived by his wife Adele, sons Connor Grout (Emily Spencer) and Logan Grout, close friend Alexis Madden, sisters Barbara Fairbanks (William) and Mary Grout and brother Richard Grout (Elizabeth) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert T. and Anna E. (Gehl) Grout.
Bob graduated from North College Hill High School and Diamond Oaks Adult Education School and was employed by Gibson Greetings, Inc. and Praxair Corporation. He donated his time and talents to the Zion Community Methodist Church, Three Rivers Area Ministries Food Pantry and to Cub Scout Pack 178 and Boy Scout Troop 418 both located in Miami Heights.
A visitation will be held at the Eagles Lake Clubhouse on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 3:30 pm. The Clubhouse is located at the Eagles Lake Condominiums, 5150 Shore View Run, Cincinnati OH 45248.
Memorial gifts, if interested, may be made to Matthew 25 Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242 OR to Threads of Hope. Donations for Threads of Hope may be made online at: gracecincinnati.com/give (please select Threads of Hope as the fund to designate your gift) or checks made be made payable to Grace Covenant Church, 6420 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati OH 45238 and the following should be written in the memo line of the check: Threads of Hope in Memory of Bob Grout.
