Robert J. Supino, Sr Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 8, 2025.
With heavy hearts but deep gratitude for a life so well lived, we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Supino, Sr., who left us peacefully from Alzheimer's on May 3, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Everett, Massachusetts on September 5, 1940, and previously living in The Villages, Florida, Bob brought light, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He married his high school sweetheart, Glenda Ellen Birnie, when they were just 19 years old. Married for over 65 years, they were once voted "Cutest Couple" at Danvers High School, Class of 1958 - a title they happily lived up to for the rest of their lives.

Bob was the proud father of three children: Robert Joseph Supino, Jr., William Bruce Supino, and Jodi Supino Elliott. He was a loving and playful grandfather to Nicholas Supino, Alexa Sibo, Tasia Correia, Dylan Supino, Joshua Elliott and Rachel Elliott. He adored his great-grandchildren Maile Supino, Colby & Aiden Correia.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, a member of Maple Street Church and lifelong employee of General Motors, Bob worked hard, played hard, and never missed a chance to crack a joke or make someone smile. Bob loved pickleball, golf (with a hole-in-one to his name) and especially billiards (pool). But his favorite pastime was time itself - shared with those he loved, whether it was playing cards and games, making videos and greeting cards, or simply being the playful and encouraging Dad and Grandad we all adored.

He was the kind of father and grandfather who always had time to play, who gave his best jokes and warmest hugs, and the kind of man who left you feeling better just by being near him. Bob had a gift for making people laugh - often with a clever remark, a twinkle in his eye, or one of his classic cheek pinches. To know Bob was to smile, experience joy and to feel safe in his presence. His spirit lives on in every story told, every inside joke remembered and every game played in his honor. Bob's legacy is one of love, humor and a life well lived.

There will be no formal services. Instead, family and friends are encouraged to share photos, messages and memories on a dedicated website listed below - a place to keep his legacy of joy, humor and kindness alive through the stories we tell and the love we continue to share. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you spend meaningful time with your loved ones. www.ONLINE-TRIBUTE.COM/
